COYCO - Our Story - Meet Mick and the Team
COYCO was founded by Mick Coy, a genuine bloke who thrives on challenging electrical work and takes pride in top-quality craftsmanship.
Originally from Tasmania, Mick moved to Perth 17 years ago, eventually settling in Rockingham — and he’s never left. Over the years, he’s built a strong reputation for his expertise, particularly in the Donga industry where he became highly sought after.
Starting out solo, Mick grew COYCO through hard work, loyalty to the local community, and a commitment to doing things properly. What began as a one-man operation has evolved into a proud family-owned Rockingham business trusted for honest service, reliability, and high standards. When not working, Mick spends time with his Family, Fishing, and Footie (the order of those 3 may vary depending on the season!).
The team now includes Mick, Ben, Deegan, and apprentice Bohdi, with Kirsti running the new Rockingham shopfront — ready to greet customers with a friendly face and genuine advice.

Our founder, Mick, began his sparky journey back in Tasmania and came to Perth 17 years ago. Since the beginning, he has been driven to the trade by his passion for providing exceptional electrical services.
